Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark is a seasonal attraction at Avengers Campus, California, using the same space as and continuing the story of Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout!
Plot[]
Security footage shows guards in the Tivan Group getting attacked by the escaped exhibits. The door to the Collector's office stutters but eventually opens, allowing the V.I.P. visitors to the Tivan Collection entry. Inside, Rocket scours the security footage and finds what he is looking forward before noticing the presence of the V.I.P.s. Rocket warns the guests to leave since the creatures are loose, but then asks them to stay and help find Groot, who got lost. He asks the V.I.P.s to reenter the gantry lift and provide a distraction for the creatures so that he can find Groot. Rocket insists on their help and asks them to meet him at the gantry lift.
The guests enter the gantry lift, where Rocket reminds them to scream loud if they see a creature. The guests see Rocket find Groot, but get approached by a Fire Dragon, scaring them. Rocket asks the guests to distract the dragon by waving their arms, which Groot mistakes as instructions for him. The elevator reaches the top of the building before going back down where they see Rocket and Groot recover. The Fire Dragon comes back, leading Groot to swear as they both run away. The dragon approaches the gantry lift, which falls to the bottom. Rocket says that the mission could have gone better and tells the guests to stay still as more monsters approach. As the guests leave the elevator, they hear an announcement about a monster that is still loose.
