In this storybook, Rocket and Groot do not try to capture Star-Lord on Xandar, instead trying to help him when Gamora steals the Orb from Quill. At the Kyln, Rocket and Groot convince Gamora and Quill to be friends in order to escape from the prison, something that is overheard by Drax, who wants to escape from the prison. Rocket's escape plan also differs from the one seen in Guardians of the Galaxy. The Guardians of the Galaxy split up when going to meet the Collector, with only Star-Lord and Gamora going to meet him. Therefore, per our canon policy, this content is deemed to be non-canonical.
