Groot's Pursuit is the third episode of the first season of I Am Groot.
Synopsis[]
Baby Groot investigates a spooky noise that's been haunting the Quadrant, the massive Ravager ship that he calls home. In doing so, he comes face-to-face with Iwua, an intelligent, shapeshifting alien who assumes his form. The best way to resolve who actually is Groot: a dance-off.
Plot[]
On the Quadrant, Groot wakes up and drinks some water before hearing a loud noise. He gets out of bed and puts on a Wrist Watch, using it as a flashlight. He finds a toilet and uses it, while looking at a book he found about Thanos, before walking back to his bed. On the way back, he notices a shiny alien on the ship. He searches around for it until an explosion happens, blowing a hole through a wall. Groot investigates, finding the shiny alien that shape shifts to look like Groot. The two Groot's have a dance off until Iwua gives him a tip on his dancing. He shape shifts into his true self to show Groot how to dance before shape shifting back into Groot. The two then dance around the Quadrant until they get to the escape hatch. Groot pushes him over the line and presses the button, sending Iwua into space.
