Sarnoff was a resident mortician for Henry Lopez and often did work in either fixing bodies or removing bodies. One day, Henry called Sarnoff in to help Maya Lopez. Sarnoff started to do her work as Henry translated for her. She brought a tool to keep the cannula from slipping from the carotid but did not need it as she was not going to be embalming Maya. She then checked Maya's wound, seeing that Maya used dental floss to stitch it. Sarnoff then warned Maya of pain before cleaning the dirty wound.[1]
