Biography[]
Attack on Tandy Bowen[]
Gregory was a friend of Rick Cotton, with whom he frequently attended parties. Having learned that Cotton had been robbed by Tandy Bowen, Gregory agreed to help ambush her as she left an opera house. Along with Cotton and another friend, they forced her into an alley and blocked her escape. As Bowen struggled to flee and slightly wounded Cotton, Gregory and his friend were ordered to leave. Gregory, understanding that Cotton intended to rape Bowen, weakly tried to object, but he then abandoned Bowen to her fate as Cotton reiterated his order.[1]
Gregory was later summoned to the New Orleans Police Department Station where he was interrogated by Brigid O'Reilly after Cotton had been found lying with a stab wound in the alley.[2]
