"Looks like someone mistook the Great Pyramid of Giza for a rubbish dump."
Steven Grant[src]

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the pyramids in the Giza Pyramid Complex, located in Giza, Egypt.

History[]

Ennead Meeting[]

"We're inside the the Great Pyramid of Giza."
Steven Grant to Marc Spector[src]

Khonshu, the Egyptian god of the Moon, started an eclipse in order to get the attention of the other members of the Ennead Council. They all then met inside of the Great Pyramid of Giza, where Khonshu's avatar, Marc Spector, met with them. Khonshu told them that a man named Arthur Harrow was guilty of trying to free Ammit. The members then summoned Harrow and conducted a trial to see if he was guilty or not. Harrow told them that he was simply taking a walk in the desert and that Spector was a crazy man. When Khonshu tried to attack Harrow, the members of the Council quickly deemed Harrow innocent and ended the meeting. When they all left, Spector was met by Yatzil, who offered advice for his mission.[1]

Imprisonment of Khonshu[]

Soon afterwards, the Ennead Council regrouped in the Great Pyramid of Giza in response to Khonshu manipulating the night sky again. They decided that he was too dangerous to be in control of such power and chanted a spell that sealed Khonshu away in stone, leaving him imprisoned in the Pyramid. Arthur Harrow came to see Khonshu in captivity.[1] Khonshu's statue was then placed in a section of the Pyramid containing several other stoned statues.[2]
