The subject of this article comes from an alternate universe connecting to the main timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The name of this universe was chosen by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki following our Naming Policy. It is not an official name and was chosen in order to differentiate each universe in the ever growing Multiverse.

The "Great Detractor" Universe is an alternate reality where the Great Protector of Ta Lo was a fierce dragon that attacked anything on sight.

History[]

Kidnapped Great Protector[]

The Great Protector was a powerful dragon, being one the most powerful being in her universe. This led Stephen Strange to become aware of her and kidnap her, hoping to sacrifice her to the Forge and restore his destroyed universe. The Great Protector was imprisoned in the Sanctum Infinitum, but was later freed along with other prisoners by Captain Carter, leading to a riot which the Great Protector participated in. Strange attempted to drop her into the Forge, but Carter and Kahhori saved her and sent her back to the Great Detractor universe.[1]
