Returns of Scott Lang[]
Scott Lang returns from prison
In 2015, Scott Lang returned to San Francisco and stopped by the Golden Gate Bridge in Luis' van.[1] In 2023, Lang emerged from the Quantum Realm and walked around San Francisco, realizing what the Snap was. He then made his way to the Wall of the Vanished, which was placed with the bridge in the view. Seeing his own name on the plaque, he rushed home.[2]

In an alternate reality, the Golden Gate Bridge along with the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge were pruned by the Time Variance Authority and transferred to the Void.[3]

Arrest of Hank Pym[]

Still grieving from the loss of Hope van Dyne, Hank Pym arrived at her gravesite, overlooking the bridge. Pym then faced off against Nick Fury as Pym revealed that he had killed all members of the Avengers Initiative. Pym soon found out that Loki was disguised as Fury. The Frost Giants' strength outweighed Pym's, with Pym being captured and taken away.[5]
Zombie Apocalypse[]
Zombies overtake the bridge
With San Francisco under attack from a Zombie Apocalypse, many Zombies took control of the bridge. The Avengers arrived to stop the zombies, only to succumb to them themselves.[6]
Escape from Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary[]
The bridge in the distance
In 1962, three Alcatraz Island prisoners escaped and washed up on shore a little ways away from the bridge.[7]
