"When I trained as a corpsman, they gave me a goat. I named my goat Cassius because he was a G.O.A.T., right?"
Curtis Hoyle[src]

Goats (Capra hircus) are a domesticated species of goat-antelope living on Earth and other places in the galaxy.

History[]

Domesticated[]

"Look at the baby mountain goats!"
"Baby mountain goats?"
Peter Parker and Roger Harrington[src]

Goats were domesticated by humans in many places, including Pompeii,[1] Afghanistan,[2] Europe,[3] Wakanda,[4] and Egypt.[5]

Fleeing Gulmira[]

Goats were kept in Gulmira, which was attacked and occupied by the Ten Rings. As citizens fled Gulmira and started their long journey to the outskirts, a citizen took their goat with them. The goat passing by was filmed as Amira Ahmed reported on the trek.[2]

Curtis Hoyle’s Goat[]

During his training as the United States Navy corpsman, Curtis Hoyle was given a goat as a test subject, which he named Cassius. Cassius was subjected to a force abuse, while Hoyle had to patch every injury he suffered, until Cassius eventually died.[6]

Alternate Universes[]

Freed by Loki[]

In an alternate universe, in an attempt to prove that he could hide from the Time Variance Authority, Loki created noise in Pompeii before the town's destruction, and freed several goats from their cart.[1]

Befriended by Fandral[]

In the alternate universe, Fandral picked up a goat from the Alpha Star Icarus before the star died, and named it Gary.[7]
