Biography

Alias Investigations

Rude Boss

Gillian got a job at Alias Investigations for the superpowered woman named Jessica Jones, who was rude to Gillian, yet kept her around as Gillian kept her level. One day, Gillian answered a call and put a tag line at the end about Jones' superheroism. This got a groan out of Jones. Gillian's watch then rang, indicating that her shift was over. She then left to get dinner.

Gillian soon returned to work only to hear that Jones had been stabbed and lost her spleen. Gillian helped the ungrateful Jones take her medicine on time. Despite Jones wanting to take it with whiskey, Gillian forced her to use water. Gillian ended her shift so that she could go to an art show. Before leaving, she set an alarm on Jones' phone for the medicine and also watched her barely pour water into a glass of whiskey so that she "took it with water." Gillian ignored this as her shift was over.

Investigating Sallinger

"When you were in my position, if a man, albeit a handsome man, accosted you in the hallway, didn't apologize for your near cardiac arrest and then forced his way into your place of work, would you hand over anything to him, much less a very sensitive investigation, just because he said, "Jessica will be relieved"? Gillian was working when Trish Walker came. The two then researched a man that they had a lead on: Gregory Sallinger. However, they only found missing bodies, not confirmed kills. Erik Gelden then arrived and started drinking as Jessica Jones did something next door. Jones then walked in as Gillian attempted to call the police. Jones told her to stop as the only eads they had were missing bodies and a man who could feel pain around bad people. Jones then told Gillian to leave as she did not pay overtime. Gillian did so, but told Jones and Walker to talk out their differences.

Gillian investigated him further and was on a call for a very long time. When she was put on hold, she left to go to the bathroom. Later, Malcolm Ducasse walked out of his apartment, scaring Gillian. He then told her he was investigating Sallinger too and wanted the files. Gillian refused, but called Jones to see if she would allow him. Walker answered the phone instead and gave Ducasse permission. Later, Jones returned, telling Gillian to help her. Gillian simply told Jones that a hello would be welcome. Jones ignored her and told Gillian to play a video on the computer while Jones recorded. The video was of Gregory Sallinger threatening a woman.

Jones' Investigation

Gillian recieved many calls about the masked vigilante that caused her to get overwhelmed. She quit as Jessica Jones walked in, who did not take the hint, wanting her to search a building in Queens. Gillian said that she should understand empathy. Jones said the same to her and Gillian remembered that Jones' adoptive mother had just died. She apologized and decided to stay and help.

Later, Gillian started work on the obituary for Dorothy. Suddenly, the police came, saying that Jones possibly killed Officer Carl Nussbaumer. Gillian said that she had never seen Jones kill anyone. Hours later, the police returned, saying that Jones did kill him. Knowing it was false, Gillian called Jones, warning her.

Gillian returned to work and found Erik Gelden passed out on the floor. Gelden refused to leave until he talked to Jones, so Gillian carried him into the tub, hurting her back. She then poured water on him until he woke up again. When Jones arrived, she ordered Gillian to help her. She wanted Gillian to search the internet for any mention of Walker, but Gillian simply showed her Gelden in the tub.

• Expert Investigator: Gillian worked for Alias Investigations and was able to develop good investigating skills from being an employee for Jessica Jones. With Gregory Sallinger on a murder spree, Gillian was able to get information on Sallinger to help Jones catch him. Even though she had quit just before, she was tasked by Jones to investigate a building in Queens.
