Following the Fall of Tenochtitlan and the separation of the Eternals, Gilgamesh took the Mahd Wy'ry stricken Thena to Australia where they lived together in isolation. Come 2024, a Deviant attacked the house, leading to Thena's Mahd Wr'ry spell. Once it was over, Ikaris, Sersi, Sprite, Kingo, and Karun Patel arrived.
The Eternals eat together
As Gilgamesh was making pie, the group told him of Ajak's untimely death. Gilgamesh sat down and broke the pan out of anger. They then got Thena and broke her out of her spell before going inside. The group ate while Gilgamesh flexed his drink made out of kernals and spit. Sersi then told them of the true purpose of the Eternals, leading to them deciding to stop the Emergence.[1]
