Gil is a friend of Darryl and Ciara and a member of Bakuto's faction of the Hand.

Gil was introduced to Danny Rand by Darryl. They informed him that the group has been having fun and rarely feel like leaving, feeling home. Upon learning that Rand became trouble for the Hand, he, alongside others, leapt into the fight between him and Davos.[1]

- Martial Artist: Gil has received some amounts of training from the masters in the Hand; he continued his training at the Hand Compound under the guidance of Bakuto.
