"If he reaches the Altar of Eternity, he could wipe us out all at once."
Thor[src]

The Gates of Eternity,[1] or Altar of Eternity, is the entrance to Eternity's Realm. It is decorated with statues honoring Eternity and other cosmic entities, namely One Above All, Watcher, Living Tribunal, Death, Eon, and Infinity.

A vision of the Gates of Eternity is seen by Gorr

In 2025, Gorr was chosen by All-Black the Necrosword and was shown a vision of the Gates of Eternity.[2]

Battle at the Gates of Eternity[]

Once Gorr had Stormbreaker in his possession, he travelled to the Gates of Eternity and brought the Asgardian children he had kidnapped. He then used Stormbreaker to summon the Bifrost Bridge in order to open a portal to Eternity's Realm and summoned the Shadow Monsters to aid in the process. However, the process caused damage to the Gates and resulted in the statue of the One Above All to fall on the children. Thor then arrived and saved the children in time. He empowered them with the power of Thor, and together, they fought Gorr and the Shadow Monsters. Moments later, Warsong flew in bringing Jane Foster. Thor gave Stormbreaker to Axl Heimdallson and he transported himself and the other children away. Foster used Mjølnir to destroy All-Black the Necrosword, but the portal was still opened and Gorr was able to enter the dimension.[2]
