In December 2024, Gary's catering company was hired by Armand Duquesne III to cater for a charity gala, as well as the black market auction that was being held beneath it. Gary managed his catering staff over the course of the two events, assigning only one waiter to work at the auction. Kate Bishop posed as a member of Gary's catering staff to infiltrate the auction. After the waiter assigned to work at the auction encountered Bishop, he alerted Gary of the intruder.
Gary confronted Bishop, asking who sent her down to the auction and what her name was. Bishop responded by pretending to be offended that Gary did not remember her name, quitting, and walk away. Confused, Gary told Bishop that she could not quit and attempted to pursue her, but Bishop managed to escape him.[1]

Gary and his crew were hired to cater Eleanor Bishop's party on Christmas Eve. Gary was yelling at Wendy Conrad, who was undercover as a caterer, as Kate Bishop addressed him as one of her and Clint Barton's potential threats.[2]

Gary runs his catering business closely and efficiently, making sure that his staff and the food is all going where they need to go. While appearing stern, Gary does display some concern, albeit also confusion, when Kate Bishop declared she was "quitting" her job.
