"He discovered that there were universes stacked on top of his own..."
The subject of this article comes from an alternate universe connecting to the main timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as the "Party Prince Thor Universe".

"Now, this is your first taste of kinghood, my prince. I expect you to study, read up on the Nine Realms that you will one day rule."
―Frigga to Thor[src]

Frigga is the Queen of Asgard and wife of Odin and the mother of Thor. She ruled Asgard while Odin was in his Odinsleep state. When her son held a party on Midgard, she wanted him to cease it and leave this planet unharmed.

Biography[]

Departure from Asgard[]

"No parties."
"Of course, Mother."
"Remember, Heimdall will be watching."
―Frigga and Thor[src]

When Odin fell asleep to restore his powers, Frigga decided to briefly depart from Asgard to celebrate the solstice with her sister, Gullveig. She told Thor that in the meantime, he should study the Nine Realms, as one day, he will inherit the crown of the King of Asgard. Frigga then insisted that Thor should not waste his time on parties, and although he said that he will comply, Frigga asked Heimdall to keep an eye on Thor in her absence. After telling Thor to behave, Frigga and her aides stepped into the Bifrost Bridge, departing from Asgard.

Thor's Misbehavior[]

"I'm cutting my trip short."
"You're coming here?"
"And, my sweet son, I expect to see your full syllabus when I arrive."
―Frigga and Thor[src]

While Frigga was enjoying her vacation, she was suddenly approached by Jane Foster, who was brought to her by Heimdall. After Foster informed Frigga that Thor is currently on Midgard and is in trouble, she created the projection of herself and interrupted Thor's battle with Captain Marvel. Frigga told Thor that she was informed by Foster about what happened, but Thor tried to excuse himself, claiming that he arrived on Midgard for a cultural exchange with humans. Frigga hardly believed Thor's excuses and decided to cut her trip short to arrive on Midgard and see Thor's education process personally.

Frigga sees Captain Marvel helping Thor

Saying goodbyes to her aides, Frigga stepped into the Bifrost Bridge and headed to Midgard; however, once she arrived at Italy, she saw Thor with a group of Asgardians and other individuals studying together, just like Thor said. Frigga was rather confused, as she did not expect Thor to be telling the truth, and continued to silently doubt him. However, Frigga saw Captain Marvel approaching Thor and providing him with more studying materials as he asked, which seemed to convince Frigga. She then told Thor that it was time for them to get back to Asgard; however, when he summoned his Mjølnir, it was covered in party material, so Frigga could only let out a frustrated sigh, realizing that Thor did lie to her again.[1]

Personality[]

"My mother is coming. And she is not happy. Like, at all. She's really mad."
Thor[src]

Frigga is a wise, kind-hearted, but rather strict queen of Asgard, who is determined to see her son Thor to stop being reckless and accept his destiny as the king. Frigga also became infamous for being incredibly fearsome when she is upset, as all of Thor's partygoers were terrified that they found out that she is coming to Earth and their party made her really mad.
