Fresno is a city located in the state of California.

History

Fresno is the birthplace of Jim Morita, who went on to join Captain America as one of the Howling Commandos during World War II.

Given his Japanese-American ethnicity, Morita's allegiance was doubted by Dum Dum Dugan when Captain America rescued them inside the Austrian HYDRA Weapons Facility. Morita answered that he was an American citizen from Fresno, showing him his dog tags to demonstrate his allegiance to the United States Armed Forces.
