Wilfredo "Fredo" Diaz Sr. was an Harlem drug dealer and youth friend of Pop and Cottonmouth.

Fredo was an associate of Pop and Cottonmouth, Fredo was considered by Pop to be "the craziest Puerto Rican in Harlem". Fredo, along with Cottonmouth, were assigned by Pop to guard the exit while Pop beat up an unnamed man. After that when, Fredo, Pop and Cottonmouth left the scene, a reporter named Jamel Shabazz asked for a picture of the three, the men said yes and they took a photo together. Later, it is revealed that Fredo became a cocaine addict and abandoned his son. And Pop revealed that Fredo ended up being killed on the streets and didn't want Chico to have the same fate.[2]
