Franklin is a member of S.W.O.R.D. who was sent to investigate the whereabouts of Monica Rambeau inside the Westview Anomaly.

Going to Westview[]

Agent Franklin was brought to investigate the mysterious disappearance of Monica Rambeau in the town of Westview, New Jersey, which had been mysteriously permeated by a hexagonal energy field. Franklin was tasked with trying to enter the town through the sewer system, wearing a hazmat suit in the event he was exposed to electromagnetic radiation from the energy field. Eventually, he crossed through the energy field surrounding the town and his hazmat suit was transformed into a beekeeper suit; the cable he was connected to transformed into a jump rope, but the energy field separated the cable from Franklin.[2]
Franklin then emerged from a manhole and made eye contact with Wanda Maximoff and Vision. Maximoff, upon seeing Franklin, proclaimed "no" and proceeded to rewind the sitcom reality.[1]

Behind the Scenes[]
- Despite Franklin's fate being left unknown onscreen, WandaVision co-executive producer Mary Livanos stated that he's most likely alive: "It was so fantastic to see the world’s response to the beekeeper. You know, at the end of the show, Wanda takes down her Hex in order to save the people of Westview from the trauma she was projecting. So hopefully he’s OK. We all hope for the best for him".[3] In addition, director Matt Shakman also reiterated that Franklin is most likely alive: "I'm sure that he got turned back into a guy in a hazmat suit. He's probably wandering somewhere around Westview, New Jersey, looking for some S.W.O.R.D. agents to help."[4]
