Fort McCoy, also known as Camp McCoy, is a military installation located in Sparta, Wisconsin.

History[]

Training of Bucky Barnes[]

Joining the army, Bucky Barnes was sent to Fort McCoy in Sparta, Wisconsin. Completing his training there, Sargent Barnes joined the 107th Infantry Regiment, leaving Fort McCoy and heading to go fight in World War II.[1][2]
