Having learned the existence of the Shrike and the danger they posed to the world thanls to Sarge, S.H.I.E.L.D. discovered that two of them in Iowa were getting closer to each other. Therefore, Melinda May took a group of agents to Fort Dodge and quickly captured one of the infected individuals inside his car. She and the captive then left Fort Dodge to return to the Zephyr One.[1]
