The Forensics Scanner is a small device able to scan the physical properties of small items and send the data to another location.
History[]
Leo Fitz was sent with Lance Hunter and Alphonso Mackenzie to analyze and retrieve forensic data from the pier where Lady Sif and Vin-Tak battled. Hunter examined a lamppost with an unusual mark right behind the spot where Vin-Tak was standing when Sif hit him with the sword.
Hunter touched the lamppost and he unintentionally broke it, making it fall to the ground. He was extremely surprised for the way it was broken, and Fitz took a sample of the lamppost and placed it inside the Forensics Scanner, sending the data to Jemma Simmons, who concluded the lamppost had been hit by liquid nitrogen and had been frozen.[1]
