Ford was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, who was killed and impersonated by a Chronicom in an alternate 1976 timeline.
Biography[]
Project Insight[]
Ford was a member of S.H.I.E.L.D. and was one of the agents overseeing Project Insight. On launch day, Ford walked up to General Rick Stoner and told him that they had the green light to launch.[2] The rocket did launch, but was soon taken down by an unknown missile. An angry Stoner wanted the location of who hit it. Ford found the ship, but the computers automatically locked on.
Stoner ordered Ford to not shoot whether it meant ripping out the controls. However, Ford was too late and the missiles were launched. This all happened as lockdown was automatically initiated, signifying a threat. Later, Ford was walking in the hallway when he was attacked and grabbed by the neck. A Chronicom then erased his face and killed Ford. They then stole Ford's clothes and face to act like him.[1]
