Officer Fitzgibbon was a police officer based in St. Charles, Missouri that was killed during Ego's Expansion.

Ego's Expansion[]
While working within Missouri as a police officer, Fitzgibbon and another officer witnessed the beginnings of Ego's Expansion and were tasked with keeping the people at bay. Just as Fitzgibbon was ordering all of the people to stand back for their own safety, the Expansion continued and Fitzgibbon and several other people were consumed and killed.[2]

- Fitzgibbon is named after a personal friend of James Gunn, Larry Fitzgibbon. Gunn includes a character named Fitzgibbon in all of his films, including Slither and Super, and in the DC Extended Universe production The Suicide Squad.
