Fred Brathwaite, known professionally as Fab Five Freddy, is an American visual artist, filmmaker, rapper, and hip hop pioneer.
Biography[]
Fab Five Freddy was among the crowd that gathered around the Duel at Malcolm X Boulevard. When he heard Diamondback tell Luke Cage that their father never loved Cage's mother and had intended to leave her for his own mother, Freddy told Cage that he should not tolerate Stryker slandering his mother and that since he was representing Harlem he had a duty to beat him.[1]
