Eson the Searcher was a Celestial that once wielded the Power Stone, one of the Infinity Stones.
Biography
Eson the Searcher was one of the previous owners of the Power Stone. He used its power to destroy an entire planet.[1]
Personality
Much like all the Celestials, Eson was an extremely ruthless, destructive and megalomaniacal being possessing a god complex.
He willingly used an Infinity Stone to destroy an entire planet presumably with little concern for the inhabitants on it. It is possible that he may have wanted to reshape the planet in his image, like the other Celestial being Ego, which wanted a similar goal, but to do it universally.
Eson, appears to be an intelligent individual, who knew how to wield the Infinity Stone to destroy a planet he arrived on without harming himself. He thought very little about the lives of the people he killed during the destruction. He appears to think only of himself, making him an extremely selfish and arrogant individual.
Powers and Abilities
Powers
- Celestial Physiology: Eson is a Celestial, a primordial race of brain-like entities with extremely powerful capabilities, like the ability to manipulate and create matter on a molecular level, which Eson utilized to create a host body for itself.
- Superhuman Durability: Its physical constitution is so immeasurably strong that Eson can wield the Power Stone.
Trivia
- In the comics, Eson the Searcher was a Celestial who was tasked with "seeking". Arriving with the Fourth Host's visit to Earth, he observes first Florida then Lemuria.
