Eson the Searcher is a Celestial.

Biography

Parts of Eson's armor were ripped off of him and sent towards Earth, where they were collected by Taneleer Tivan.

Eson judged the Terrans of Earth as being unworthy to exist, stealing a Cosmic Generator from a Nova Corps Starcharter in an attempt to open a Jump Point to send Earth back to the dawn of time and remove it from history. Centurion Tal Marik contacted the Guardians of the Galaxy for assistance, with the Guardians and a selection of Terrans brought to visit the Starcharter pursuing Eson through the newly opened Jump Point. Eson attempted to throw the Cosmic Generator at Earth in an attempt to destroy it, but the Guardians successfully blasted the Cosmic Generator out of his hands before he could.

A new Jump Point opened and sucked Eson, the Cosmic Generator, the Guardians, and the Terrans back in time to during and eventually before the Big Bang. Eson was pursued by the Guardians and the Terrans back to the present across a series of further Jump Points before eventually being contained by a fleet of Nova Corps Star Blasters, who safely recovered the Cosmic Generator.
