- "A report on NYPD radio of three bodies, found without faces. I believe it to be an Eraser, a particularly invasive Hunter procedure to procure identities."
- ―Enoch to Alphonso Mackenzie and Phil Coulson[src]
Erasers are Chronicom devices that allow them to assume an individual's identity.
History[]
- "What do you want?"
"Your face." - ―William Dole and Luke[src]
In an alternate 1931, Luke, Abel, and Cain used the Erasers to assume the personas of three NYPD officers, including William Dole. Their bodies were later found without faces.[1]
The Chronicom Hunters once again used Erasers in 1976 to infiltrate S.H.I.E.L.D. At least three S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, including King and Ford, were killed by the Erasers, which would also have been used on Rick Stoner if Phil Coulson and Melinda May had not saved him. Other Chronicom Hunters also used Erasers to take the appearance of Alphonso Mackenzie's parents John and Lilla.[2]
The Chronicom Hunters attempted to use the Erasers on Alphonso Mackenzie and Daniel Sousa in response to their infiltration of the Chronicoms' ship, but Mackenzie incapacitated them using the Thunderstick before they could.[3]

Capabilities[]
Erasers can scan a person's face, and then allow the Chronicom to assume that person's identity, becoming a mirror image of them. This process requires removing the body that the Chronicom was previously wearing
