The Ennead Council is a group composed of seven gods of the Ennead.
History[]
Banishment[]
Many years ago, the Ennead Council banished Khonshu, god of the Moon and the Night Sky, from their number, as they felt he interfered with humanity. Khonshu was left bitter, feeling the Council had abandoned humanity entirely.
Over the years, the Council imprisoned many disobedient Ennead in stone, keeping them by fires in the Pyramid. By 2025, only Osiris, Hathor, Horus, Isis and Tefnut remained.[1]
Trial of Arthur Harrow[]
After Khonshu caused an eclipse, the Council gathered once again, bringing Khonshu and his avatar Marc Spector before them. Khonshu revealed he had caused the eclipse in order to get their attention so he may call for judgement against Arthur Harrow, who he accused of comprising to release Ammit. Harrow was summoned to the Pyramid to defend his case, and was able to sway the minds of the Council in his favour. Having won them over, the Council deemed Harrow free as he had yet to commit any offense.
The Council reconvened not long after in order to imprison Khonshu in stone, after the god used his powers once again to turn back the night sky, which was observed across the world.[1]

After Harrow gained Ammit's ushabti, the Council reconvened, realizing too late that Khonshu was right and Harrow had always intended to free Ammit. Harrow and the Disciples of Ammit then broke down the entrance to the chamber, and entered. The Council approached to fight Harrow, but he used the Staff of Ammit and his increased powers to easily defeat the Council, killing all of the gods avatars and leaving the Council defunct.[2]
