The Energy Rifle[1] was a weapon used by Gamora during a battle against an Abilisk.

Battle on Sovereign[]
In 2014, Gamora used an energy rifle to shoot at an Abilisk that was attempting to eat the Anulax Batteries that served as the power source for Sovereign. However, the Abilisk's skin was too thick for the rifle's shots to have any impact. On Peter Quill's instructions, Gamora attempted to use the energy rifle to shoot a cut on the Abilisk's neck, but the rifle ran out of ammo, forcing her to throw the rifle away and deploy her sword, Godslayer, using it to slash the Abilisk to death instead.[2]
