"They're called, the Embers of Genesis. Nutrient-rich cosmic dust from an ancient supernova with the power to terraform entire ecosystems."
Nebula[src]

The Embers of Genesis are an interstellar dust sourced from an ancient supernova. The Embers have properties powerful and nutritive enough to heal a dying planet, and end galactic hunger.

History[]

Heist of the Embers[]

The Embers of Genesis were formed from the nutrient-rich cosmic dust of an ancient supernova. They came into the possession of the most ruthless kingpin in the intergalactic underworld, the Collector. To use the Embers for the good of the galaxy, Nebula recruited Star-Lord and his Ravagers for a heist. During the escape Nebula used a small amount of the Embers to save Thanos from Cull Obsidian and terraformed Knowhere in the processes.[1]

Capabilities[]

"With one ounce, you can heal a dying planet in minutes. And with a payload the size we're talking..."
"We could feed billions of people on millions of worlds and eradicate hunger across the galaxy."
Nebula and T'Challa[src]

Accelerated Chlorogenesis: The Embers of Genesis were able to cause rapid plant growth and could terraform entire ecosystems. One ounce of the Embers of Genesis is powerful enough to heal a dying planet in minutes. When Nebula released the Embers on Knowhere, roots started to grow rapidly on the surface and the entire planet was terraformed.
