Elaine Ann Walters (née Banner) is the mother of Jennifer Walters and the aunt of Bruce Banner.

Hearing about Jennifer Walters' firing after she became She-Hulk to save people, Elaine and Morris Walters invited her to a family dinner. Prior to her arrival, Morris told the family not to mention Jennifer's firing. When their daughter arrived, Elaine greeted her, kissing Jennifer on the cheek. They then walked into the dining room where Ched instantly mentioned the firing, saying he misheard Morris. Morris then brought Jennifer into the garage. When dinner was over, Elaine watched as Jennifer transformed into She-Hulk and helped around the house with hard projects like lifting a television onto a stand.[1]

When Jennifer Walters was nominated for female lawyer of the year, Elaine and Morris Walters attended. When Jennifer was called, they believed she won, but were wrong as every nominated lawyer was called up. As Jennifer gave her speech, the screen suddenly started showing personal footage of Jennifer, as it was hacked by Intelligencia. She-Hulk lost her cool and punched the screen. This caused everyone to defend themselves as She-Hulk rampaged through the crowd.[2]
Helping Jennifer[]
When Jennifer Walters was released from prison under the rule that she does not turn into She-Hulk, Elaine and Morris Walters helped her get away from press. Jennifer was fired, so she moved back into the Walters' house for the time being. Jennifer put her stuff in her old room and Elaine asked her for help in moving stuff. However, she apologized as she forgot she was not She-Hulk anymore. As Jennifer did her research on Intelligencia, Elaine showed Nikki Ramos a video of Jennifer in college. She later sent it to Ramos as well.[3]

Walters and her husband hosted a barbecue to celebrate their daughter's victory over Intelligencia. She brought Matt Murdock to meet them and they all asked him questions relating to his life. Shortly, they were joined by Bruce Banner, who told them he had been away on Sakaar for a while and had news to tell them, but first wanted them to meet his son, Skaar. At this news, Walters and the rest of the family got up and went over to introduce themselves and greet him.[3]
