Eileen Vasquez is the wife of Joseph Vasquez and the mother of Topher Vasquez and Sofia Vasquez.
Biography[]
Eileen married Joseph Vasquez and had two children with him; Sofia and Topher Vasquez. However, when her son was a teenager, his use of Gibborim Rocks in the aftermath of the destruction of the Geosciences Research Center where he worked caused him to become violent and out of control, and Eileen saw him attacking her husband Joseph, leading to Topher leaving the house while Joseph was left paralyzed from the legs.
A decade later, Eileen was visited by her son, who seemed as erratic as before and begged his family to welcome him among them again. Still freightened even after the Runaways arrived to help, Eileen explained that they could not afford to have Topher back even though this pained her deeply. Eileen and her family then explained to the Runaways that Topher had changed after the explosion of the lab. Eileen then watched in horror as her son attacked Sofia before being attacked himself by the Runaways, which eventually caused Topher to be badly injured.[1]
