Biography[]
Bad Date[]
- "Welcome to Sunday."
"Come on, no. I think Friday still comes after Thursday, doesn't it?"
"It doesn't change the fact that today is Sunday, which means 'lose my number.'" - ―Dylan and Steven Grant[src]
Dylan began working at the National Art Gallery and met Steven Grant. One day, Grant asked her out on a date, and she said yes.
Dylan approached Grant the day before their planned date, to confirm that it was still going ahead, but he seemed unable to recall asking her. Dylan reminded him of their plans, and he agreed, asking her if she was asking him out. Dylan, believing that Grant was joking, said that he was funny before going to start a tour of the museum.
Dylan arrived at the restaurant the next and waited from Grant, who did not show up. Dylan ate steak on her own and became angry with Grant.
Two days later, Grant called her, and Dylan started yelling at him. Grant expressed confusion, believing it to be the day of their date. Dylan informed him that it was in fact two days after their date and told him to lose her phone number before angrily hanging up.[1]
