Dreykov was the head of the Red Room, a Russian spy organization that stole girls away from their parents, brainwashed them, and trained them to become Black Widows, an army of elite female assassins.[1]

While in Hungary, Dreykov was killed by a former Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff, who had defected from the Red Room. Romanoff stabbed Dreykov in the carotid artery with a corkscrew, killing him once and for all.[1]
