Doug was a former contestant in the Contest of Champions on Sakaar, who died after his fight against Hulk.
Biography[]
Killed in the Arena[]
Doug ended up in Sakaar where he was forced to be a gladiator for Grandmaster in the Contest of Champions. He befriended his fellow contestants, Korg and Miek. He believed he could defeat the Grandmaster's champion but lost and died from his injuries.[1]
Doug's Mace and Shield were later given to the Asgardian Thor, who used them in the Duel in the Grand Arena.[3]

- Combatant: As part of the Contest of Champions, Doug was a skilled combatant, but eventually was overwhelmed and killed by Hulk, his opponent and the latest champion at the arena.

- Doug's Mace and Shield: Doug used a mace and shield while in combat in the Contest of Champions. Following Doug's death, Thor used the mace and shield to fight the Hulk.

- Grand Arena: Doug was forced to fight in the Contest of Champions in the Grand Arena. He remained confident in his abilities until he fought the Hulk, who killed Doug. Doug's corpse remained in area where prisoners were held in the Arena.
