Slapping Jolene[]
Dolly Parton lived in Nashville and met Agatha Harkness. Parton became angry with Harkness and slapped her, getting caught on camera.[2] Parton went on to write the song "Jolene" about Harkness, using "Jolene" as a fake name to describe Harkness.[3] Parton kept Harkness' true identity secret, although people speculated online.[2]
