Trivia[]
- Scott Derrickson originally wanted "Are You Experienced?" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience to be played over the end credits, but the Hendrix family demanded to see the whole film ahead of time and a payment of $500,000. He also considered "Interstellar Overdrive" but decided to use it in the car crash scene instead.[1]
- "Blow Up the Outside World" by Soundgarden and "Soul of a Man" by Beck were featured in the IMAX preview for the film.[2]
