Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange, M.D., Ph.D., was a Master of the Mystic Arts and the master of the New York Sanctum. He was infected with the Quantum Virus in 2018 and was killed by Wasp's ants after making an attempt to devour Bruce Banner.

Zombie Apocalypse[]
Overwhelmed by the Undead[]
In 2018, the Quantum Virus broke out across the United States of America. Strange, along with Wong, became infected by the virus and transformed into zombies. Due to this, the Cloak of Levitation abandoned Strange and the New York Sanctum was left unoccupied.[1]
Attacking Bruce Banner[]

Two weeks later, Strange, Wong, and Tony Stark attacked and infected Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian, two members of the Black Order. They then attacked Bruce Banner, who had just returned to Earth. However, the Cloak of Levitation came to Banner's rescue and restrained Strange from using his Sling Ring and killed Wong. When Maw neutralized the Cloak and suspended Banner, a horde of ants commanded by Hope van Dyne arrived, devouring the flesh off Strange and the Black Order zombies.[1]

- Zombie Physiology: Doctor Strange was infected with an encephalopathic virus that overloaded his brain's limbic system, turning him into a zombie.
- Infection: Like any zombies, Strange is capable of spreading encephalopathic virus to others by biting or scratching which would turn them into zombies.
- Magic: Strange was one of the most powerful members of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, possessing an extremely high level of mastery over magic, even in the zombie form.
- Eldritch Magic: Strange was able to shape and manipulate Eldritch Magic, forming tangible constructs of energy, such as weapons or shields, as well as cast spells by writing specific formations with the fiery energy.
- Spell Casting: Strange was able to use an Eldritch Whip to bind Ebony Maw.
- Portal Creation: Strange was able to open Inter-Dimensional Portals without the need of a Sling Ring.
- Eldritch Magic: Strange was able to shape and manipulate Eldritch Magic, forming tangible constructs of energy, such as weapons or shields, as well as cast spells by writing specific formations with the fiery energy.
