Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange was a sorcerer who wore a Sling Ring with the Reality and Time Stones in it. He was banished to the Void by the Time Variance Authority and killed by Cassandra Nova.

Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange was native to the United States and became an amateur sorcerer, wearing a Sling Ring that had the Reality and Time Stones embedded onto it. He then got pruned by the Time Variance Authority and sent to the Void, where he wandered around until he got murdered by Cassandra Nova.[2]

After killing him, Cassandra Nova wore Strange's skin around like a costume for a few days and took possession over his Sling Ring and Cloak of Levitation. Sometime later, Nova told Deadpool and Wolverine about her encounter with Strange, and even though Nova never said the sorcerer's name, the fourth-wall-breaking Deadpool was able to deduce Strange's identity by the sight of his remaining belonging, his Sling Ring.[2]
