"Good one, Dad!"
―Dionysus to Zeus[src]

Dionysus Acratophorus is an Olympian and the son of Zeus.

Biography[]

Living in Omnipotence City[]

Dionysus was the Olympian god of wine and festivity, and the son of the Zeus, the leader of the Council of Godheads. Along with his father, Dionysus lived in Omnipotence City, ignoring the pleas of the people who worship them, while spending their days in enjoyment.[1]

Meeting Thor[]

One day, Dionysus saw Thor, Valkyrie, Mighty Thor, and Korg. They asked him where to find Zeus. Dionysus bragged about being his son while asking his servants for grapes. He then told them he was going to Aphrodite's for predrinks and then to the Golden Temple for Zeus' meeting.[2]

Skirmish in Omnipotence City[]

Zeus often held meetings for the gods. In one meeting, Thor, Mighty Thor, Valkyrie, and Korg arrived to seek help from the gods in defeating Gorr the God Butcher. Zeus teased Thor and ridiculed him, leading Dionysus to applaud his father's jokes. Soon, a fight broke out. Dionysus watched as Zeus seemingly killed Korg, leading Thor to impale Zeus with his own Thunderbolt. Luckily, Zeus lived through the injury, sending Dionysus' half-brother Hercules after Thor.[1]

Personality[]

Like many other gods living in Omnipotence City, Dionysus is somewhat seen as a hedonist; neglecting the responsibility of gods and instead indulges in luxuries and enjoyment. This is shown when he required a carriage, with servants to constantly serve him grapes and when he went to Aphrodite’s for pre-drinks. When Thor asked for the gods’ help in the Golden Temple, Dionysus joined his father Zeus in mocking Thor, showing their neglect towards other important matters.
