Diego is a villager from Peru who lived on Druig's Compound.
Biography[]
Meeting the Eternals[]
While working with wood, Diego was approached by Sprite, who asked him if he knew if Druig was here. Diego responded and asked how Sprite knew him. At that point, Diego turned around became possessed by Druig, with him speaking through him.[1]
Ambush on Druig's Compound[]
Following his encounter with the Eternals, Druig's Compound was attacked by the deviants. Druig controlled Diego along with other members of the compound to help fend off the attack with rifles. After dropping a tree that she had turned to metal on the attacking Deviant, Sersi instructed Druig to let the villagers go. He did so, and told them to get to the river, freeing Diego and the rest of the villagers from his mind control.[1]
