The Devil's Claw is a an ancient and difficult technique taught to members of the Order of the Crane Mother. It involves striking the pressure points, carotid and subclavian arteries, incapacitating the victim and leaving succeptible to suffer a stroke. The only sign of having suffered from the Devil's Claw is heavy bruising in the neck, throat and shoulders.

The Devil's Claw was used by Davos against Hai-Qing Yang in order to prevent the latter from backing out of their negotiation.

Danny Rand recognized the bruising on Yang's body as damage resulting from being struck by the technique
