The Destruction of the Chronicom Fleet was the conclusion of the Chronicom Colonization of Earth, as S.H.I.E.L.D. were able to destroy Sibyl's fleet, along with Nathaniel Malick.
Background[]
In 1983, Sibyl teamed up with Nathaniel Malick in order to defeat S.H.I.E.L.D..[2] She shared with him her Time Stream, a device capable of predicting the future. Malick used the Time Stream to recruit individuals who died in the original timeline such as Kora[3] and John Garrett.[4] Although the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents managed to fight Malick and Sibyl's forces, the Chronicoms successfully decimated all the S.H.I.E.L.D. facilities in the alternate timeline.[5] In their last attempt to defeat the Chronicoms and save Earth, with the help of Leo Fitz and Deke Shaw, S.H.I.E.L.D. used the Quantum Tunnel to transport themselves and the Chronicom fleet to the original timeline where they prepared for a last stand against them.[6][1]

Inside the Quantum Realm, Leo Fitz tried to make Jemma Simmons remember him. He later explained the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents what happened to them after Enoch rescued them from the ambush at the Lighthouse. He told them how Simmons and he traveled to deep space where they figured out how to make the Zephyr One able to time travel in order to follow the Chronicoms. He explained to them how they were now being brought back to their original timeline by using the Quantum Realm and that he had to stay behind to establish the link between the timelines. Under Alphonso Mackenzie's leadership, the S.H.I.E.L.D. team started to prepare in order to carry out the plan Fitz and Simmons had devised to destroy the Chronicom fleet.
Quake fights the Chronicoms
The team arrived to 2019 of their original timeline. Mackenzie took Yo-Yo Rodriguez, Fitz, Simmons and Daniel Sousa to the Temple of the Forgotten in order to assist their old selves who were fighting Izel inside the temple. After helping their old selves to escape from the temple so they could time travel to 1931 as a part of a causal time loop, the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents split up into two teams. Mackenzie, Johnson, Coulson and May prepared to infiltrate the Chronicom Destroyer Ship while Simmons, Fitz, Sousa and Rodriguez headed to the Lighthouse. As they had tricked the Chronicoms into thinking the Zephyr One had been destroyed, they managed to enter the Chronicom ship undetected. However, they had to split as they were soon found by some Chronicoms. While Quake fought them, the rest of the team proceeded with their mission to go find the control room. Quake then fought Nathaniel Malick with the two of them engaging in a lengthy battle, Malick tried to taunt Quake over Jiaying's death.
Melinda May assists Phil Coulson
Meanwhile, Coulson was ambushed by Sibyl who managed to subdue him. Sibyl told Coulson how S.H.I.E.L.D. had lost the war but Coulson told her that she was wrong as Fitz and Simmons were taking back the Lighthouse from her Chronicom hunters. Not knowing she had been tricked by Coulson, Sibyl ordered the remaining Chronicom hunters to head to the Lighthouse in order to decimate the S.H.I.E.L.D. team. Sibyl received word that the agents at the Lighthouse had made a fortress, she then activated the console and ordered to open fire. Coulson then revealed to her that their plan consisted on her activating the console as that was their way to get through the Chronicoms army. Melinda May then entered the room and fought off the Chronicom hunters, she also knocked down Sibyl. Mackenzie, who had rescued Kora, entered the room with the unconscious Inhuman in his arms. Coulson woke up Kora and asked for her help in stopping the Chronicoms. She agreed to do so. Combining their powers, May and Kora gave the Chronicom hunters human empathy through the communication console, which successfully stopped their attempts to kill the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents stationed at the Lighthouse.
Quake uses her powers to destroy the Chronicom fleet
Quake and Malick continued to fight using their powers, however, Malick managed to get the upper hand as he had had his powers longer than Quake had. Quake then saw how the rest of her S.H.I.E.L.D. team were escaping the ship as their plan had worked. Furious that he had been outsmarted, Malick used his powers to pin Quake against a reactor, saying that the only way she could defeat him was if she also killed herself. Confident on her abilities, Quake told her that that was the idea. She then unleashed a massive shockwave that exploded the reactors, killing Malick and Sibyl, and destroying the entire Chronicom fleet in the process.[1]
Aftermath[]
Quake is revived by Kora

In the aftermath of the destruction of the fleet, Quake was blown out into space. Her body was retrieved by the S.H.I.E.L.D. team on the Zephyr One. Wanting to save her sister, Kora used her powers to restore Quake's life, which worked. The team celebrated their victory as they went back to Earth as the Chronicoms's plan to conquer Earth had failed.[1]
