The Destruction of Project Rebirth was a successful mission by Hydra to destroy Project Rebirth.

Background

During World War II, Hydra heard about Project Rebirth, a project to help the enemies create a breed of Super Soldiers.

Destruction

Hydra sent men to Project Rebirth and they successfully destroyed the project by detonating a large bomb, killing Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter in the process.

Aftermath

Red Skull's monument stands victorious

With Project Rebirth out of the picture, Hydra stood uncontested as they won the war and destroyed the world. Red Skull had a monument built to engrave his victory.
