Attack on the Freedom Fighters[]
During the Quantumnauts' attack, Derrick manned his station on the guns. However, as he was shooting, his station got obliterated by M.O.D.O.K. Derrick was able to survive the attack, but was captured.[1]
Uprising in Axia[]
Derrick was stuck in Kang the Conqueror's prison when Jentorra arrived and broke him out. Derrick then fought alongside the Freedom Fighters as they took control over the Quantum Realm. The group cheered after Kang was defeated.[1]
