Deke Shaw's Company's Office was the headquarters of the tech company founded by Deke Shaw after he left S.H.I.E.L.D., although the staff briefly relocated to the Lighthouse.
History[]
Located in the Silicon Valley, the building was the main office of Deke Shaw's tech company. It followed the pattern of many companies established in the Silicon Valley, including large wide and open spaces, research and development labs as well as recreational areas for the employees. One room of the building was dedicated to the new version of the Framework designed by the company.
In an attempt to track down and kill Shaw, who they considered not being part of this world, Sarge's Squad went to the office. Sarge, initially posing as Phil Coulson due to Shaw recognizing him as such, met with Shaw in a conference room. However, Shaw eventually realized that he was not talking to Coulson and wounded Sarge in the hand before running away.
Sarge's team then invaded the building to chase Shaw, causing massive panic among the staff. However, Shaw managed to leave the building thanks to Trevor Khan, who revealed that he was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. and that he had called for backup. As a result, a S.H.I.E.L.D. team including Alphonso Mackenzie and Melinda May entered the building in an attempt to capture Sarge and his teammates.
Shaw returned into the office after learning that his girlfriend Sequoia, who did not know about the attack, was inside. He found her in the bathroom, but on their way out, they were attacked by Pax and only saved thanks to Mackenzie's interference. Mackenzie managed to knock Pax unconscious. The group was then chased by Jaco, and Shaw instructed Khan to get Sequoia out of the building while he and Mackenzie lured Jaco into a trap, incapacitating him through a Framework simulation.[1]
Shaw later had many members of his staff who usually worked in the company's office temporarily relocate to the Lighthouse.[2]
