Agatha Harkness ran afoul of the Daughters of Liberty. One member struck her in the left elbow with a knitting needle, leaving a permanent scar. Harkness then ensured the organization’s end.[1]

- In the comics, the Daughters of Liberty were a group of women fighting to preserve the ideals of freedom with their roots in late 18th Century Europe as the Daughters of Light. Turning their attention to the United States, they were trained in the ways of combat, science and magic, with Agatha Harkness serving as their instructor in this field, as well as a member in her own right. In the modern day, their membership would be comprised entirely of female superheroes, such as Shuri, Black Widow, Echo, Invisible Woman, Misty Knight, Bobbi Morse, Sharon Carter, and their leader, Peggy Carter, also known as The Dryad.
