When Luke Cage disappeared after having another Judas Bullet shot at him, Darnell regrouped with other people who worked for Diamondback at Harlem's Paradise. Diamondback taunted the men for not locating Cage, and scared the men into thinking he was reaching for his gun, while Darnell took a bullet into his body, from a small firearm in Darnell's left hand. Darnell joined the others in initiating another search for Cage, wounded by the shot.[1]
