The Drug Enforcement Administration is the United States federal law enforcement agency under the United States Department of Justice, tasked with combating drug smuggling and use within the United States.
Prosecution of Danny Rand
Harold Meachum contacted with the New York division of the DEA and passed the information that Danny Rand used his Rand Enterprises resources to smuggle heroin within New York City. DEA sent the task force to Chikara Dojo in order to capture him but Rand with Colleen Wing defeated all agents and gone into hiding. DEA charged Rand and Wing with assault, obstructing justice and abetting a fugitive and placed Rand at the top of the list of most wanted fugitives.
However, Jeri Hogarth called the DEA and gave them files that proving Rand's innocence and promised that he will make a generous contribution to the DEA's Widows' and Children's Fund. Then, DEA decided to drop all the charges, including the assault against their agents.
Wilson Fisk's Leads
As part of the deal with the FBI, Wilson Fisk agreed to give information about criminal activities within New York City. The leads from Fisk allowed DEA to connect the Albanian Syndicate with drug trafficking ring in Jalisco, Mexico and make several arrests.
