Cull Obsidian was a member of the Black Order and one of the children of Thanos.
Biography[]
Zombie Apocalypse[]
Overwhelmed by the Undead[]
Obsidian arrive in New York City
In 2018, Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw traveled to Earth in their Q-Ship, arriving in New York City in search for the Time Stone. Despite the derelict streets, they proceeded with their plan, until they were attacked by Tony Stark, Doctor Strange, and Wong.
Despite fighting against them, Obsidian and Maw became infected by the quantum virus and turned into zombies. Obsidian, Maw, Stark, Strange, and Wong then turned their attention to Bruce Banner and tried to attack him. However, the Cloak of Levitation arrived to rescue him. As the Cloak killed Wong and temporarily defeated Strange, Obsidian, Maw, and Stark tried to get to Banner.
Zombie Obsidian is killed by the ants
However, they were stopped by a swarm of ants, commanded by Hope van Dyne. The ants quickly killed Obsidian into he turned into a pile of dust.[1]

- Zombie Physiology: Cull Obsidian was infected with an encephalopathic virus that overloaded his brain's limbic system, turning him into a zombie.
- Infection: Like any zombies, Cull Obsidian is capable of spreading encephalopathic virus to others by biting or scratching which would turn them into zombies.
